What you see here is a homemade ghost box. What do i mean by homemade? Let me clarify what i do. I take radios that are available and leave the working radio portion in tact, i add my own sweep circuit with an adjustment knob for variations of speed. These are very time consuming to build, but do offer some good communication. They seem to work better than most that i've heard. Although the radios look the same or similar, no two radios sound the same after the modification.
I build these radios to try new things, but end up having more than i need after i'm finished. I decided to make this page to offer some boxes to the public for a fraction of what they can buy it for online.

Understand that these radios are not meant to be tampered with in this fashion and were not designed to do what i have done here. I will offer only minimal tech support if you should have a problem. Most of these radios will be AS IS. These are all handmade circuits and work, if the radio should have a flaw than i will list it in the description.

Sangean Tuner Piggy Back Style Ghost box

This style radio is a Sangean Dt200x radio tuner blended in with my own signature sweep circuit that is a hybrid linear/random style sweep. It offers an AM/FM band feature. The sweep knob on top is fully adjustable to scan as fast or slow as needed based on your location. Ghost Box runs on 2 battery supplies. Sweep Circuit requires 4 AA's and the radio runs on 2 AA's.

Radio Shack 12-150 Extreme Range ghost box conversion

Table top portable radio, model #12-150 from radio shack. This radio is AM/FM fully adjustable sweeping radio. It has AM wide to pull in long distance stations as well as AM local to fine tune minimal voices for possible easier ghost voices. This is one of the clearest sounding radios i have ever used to convert to a spirit box.
Operates on 6 D batteries or an AC power supply (included). The sweep circuit is inside the radio and is a very sturdy design for using in the field.
